HOW IT WORKS
Waitwise keeps several calls on hold for each supported service. When you need help, choose the service and join the list. As representatives answer, we connect people in the order they joined.
Several calls are waiting for each supported service.
Verify your phone and choose how to connect.
Choose the service you need, verify your phone, and tell us whether you prefer a call or a text when it is your turn.
Checkout authorizes the price on your card, then you join the people waiting for that service. This does not start a new hold call—Waitwise is already waiting.
When a representative answers, the person who has waited longest gets the call.
Answer our call or use the number we text you before the countdown ends. Waitwise automatically connects you; from there, the conversation is between you and the representative.
If you choose a call, we call once. If you choose a text, we send one text and you call us—we do not call you first. In either case, connect before the countdown ends or your place is released. We will not try again automatically. To receive another call or text, rejoin at the back of the queue.
Checkout places a temporary authorization on your card. We charge it only after we successfully connect you to a representative. If you leave the queue or we cannot make the connection, we release the authorization instead.
If the service is closed or near closing time, you can reserve a place for its next opening. We show you when calling will begin, and you can cancel before it starts. Calling hours and the closing-time buffer are set separately for each service.
